Ryann Mayo or “Ms. Ryann” is a Regional Case Manager for Kipp SoCal Public Schools serving grades TK through 4th. She has earned her Master’s degree in Special Education at Loyola Marymount University. Before taking on administrative roles, Ms. Ryann taught for seven years in multiple capacities. Her teaching experience ranges from teaching a Special Day Class for 18-22 year olds with severe disabilities, serving as an RSP teacher for grades TK-6, to teaching Fourth Grade in the general education setting. In administrative roles, she has served as a case manager for students with IEPs and a Special Education Manager for two charter schools within the Kipp SoCal Charter School Network. Miss Ryann believes in working on the students’ self esteem and confidence as a way of helping them bridge the gaps in their academics as well as providing a calm, respectful and empathetic atmosphere.
