As Studio Director, I'm responsible for technical directing and directing regularly-scheduled evening live videos to the AccuWeather Network on DirecTV, Verizon FIOS, and Frontier FIOS cable. Additionally, I am available for severe storm, winter, and hurricane coverage outside of the times of our regular evening shows. I am also be responsible for directing hourly breaking weather videos outside of the hours we are producing live content, as well as online video content for accuweather.com and any external clients who wish to utilize our weather expertise.

State College, Pennsylvania Area

As an AccuWeather Video Technician, I shoot as-live and live weather videos for the AccuWeather Network and various AccuWeather's many clients around the United States. My duties include setting camera shots and recording the content, assuring it reaches the correct locations and working with various team members for the Network and clients in order to ensure the video content reaches its proper destination.

Camp Hill, Pa

At PCN, I worked with various aspects of television production and on various shows with the network. Programs I worked with included "PCN Call-In Program" as a floor manager and call screener, "On The Issues" as a camera operator, audio operator, and floor manager, and various other Public Affairs shows as a general production assistant. Additionally, I was on PCN's staff for such live events as the 2014 Pennsylvania general election, the 2015 Pennsylvania Farm Show, and the Inauguration of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf. The programs I aided in the production of are carried on cable providers around the state of Pennsylvania.

Harrisburg, Pa

With WITF, I was a camera operator for various productions with the network, most notably the daily Pennsylvania Lottery broadcasts and live network pledge shows. As with my work at PCN, the Lottery broadcasts are statewide productions. Though the Lottery Drawing itself is shown on various networks around the state, the program is shot and uplinked at WITF.Additionally, I trained on the Chyron graphics generator at the station. As the Chyron operator, I worked mainly on the Lottery broadcasts as well, managing all the graphical aspects of the heavily time-limited broadcast. I also worked the Chyron position for WITF Pledge Shows.

I was the manager of a staff of about 15 lifeguards for the summer of 2014. As manager, I lifeguarded, wrote schedules, performed morning pool safety checks, served as the main contact between the staff and Heatherfield Management, and was the primary contact in the event of an emergency at one of the three Heatherfield pools.

Slippery Rock University

As President of WSRU-TV in college, I was tasked with managing club meetings and producing, directing, and managing various live and taped programs in the genres of sports, comedy, news, and entertainment. I learned various software and hardware, such as NewTek Tricaster switchers, MACKIE audio boards, and began to learn Chyron graphics software.I also announced a weekly weather report and Slippery Rock football games.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

During my time with Commonwealth Media Services, I learned the general flow of a production-based company. My responsibilities included graphic creation with Adobe AfterEffects, video editing with Final Cut Pro 7, field filming with Panasonic AG-HMC40 cameras and Canon EOS 5D DSLR Cameras. I also worked in the studio and radio booth as a production assistant and had the opportunity to work with the Governor of Pennsylvania and select Cabinet members.Additionally, I ran audio in the Capitol Media Center, where state Representatives and Senators hold press conferences that are viewed around the state.
