Hello, I am Ryan, a "jack-of-all-trades," "glue guy" type of professional. I have over 15 years of system and user support experience, first with the MIND Research Institute and their ST Math software, then with Boston Reed and their proprietary logistics applications, and currently with ASSIST. At ASSIST, I've had my hand in so many things: providing daily support for our primary user group (articulation officers), answering the general phone line and e-mail inbox, providing system training in both big group and 1:1 environments, working with our developers to translate and document requirements for application updates, and serving as the primary content management expert for ASSIST's supplementary website, resource.assist.org.In addition to traditional “day” jobs, I have 10 years of experience teaching high school drumlines. One of my proudest accomplishments is guiding Dublin High School (Dublin, CA) from competing at a novice level to performing and competing against the top groups in Northern California, including some first place finishes at several competitions over the years, something they had rarely done previously. My educational background includes a Master of Information Systems degree from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Davis. In my spare time, I love playing basketball! I take my "make winning plays for the team" mindset from playing basketball and apply it to how I approach work.
