Under the direction of Dr. Kristy Ainslie, my research focuses on developing a novel treatment for glioblastoma patients through the localized delivery of synergistic drug combinations. Currently, I am executing 2-drug synergy screens in vitro with 99 drug combinations and 11 glioblastoma cell lines. In the future, I plan to encapsulate highly synergistic drug combinations in our acetalated dextran (Ace-DEX) scaffolds via electrospinning and characterize the drug-release kinetics from this polymer system.

As part of the process science team and Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) group, I have learned to execute purification techniques via GE ÄKTA chromatography systems, perform analytical tests using UV spectrophotometry and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for protein concentration and product purity and stability, and use small scale experimental techniques to interpret results.

Monitored and surveyed the physical and structural conditions of routes in Pennsylvania for aiding in the allocation of a budget distribution analysis covering yearly road maintenance funding in District 2.
