I am based on liaising with the UG and PG staff to organising and support visits of our applicant visit days, open days, alumni events and also educational visits of FE colleges visiting the University of Salford. This is without a doubt a crucial areas that needs to be fulfilled as the transitions of college education to university can be very daunting but with the support and organised events will allow the potential students to feel at ease. Communication has been absolute key during this role as I am working with very disciplined and high skilled professionals who only have a significant timescale to abided by, the skill of communication worked desirably with a task of creating and maintaining a subject specific database to be used by the head and assistant of Law and People Management at the university. During this time I was able to take upon extra role whilst the landlady was away on holiday where I took a managing position including working and communicating with external companies and handling sufficient amounts of money, this temporary role improved the confidence of dealing with customers who were intoxicated but also local community who lived near the business premises. Most of the time during this employment was alone working and essential required for myself to take accountability of situation which could have arisen during my shift, as well as my independent skills, self-efficiency and presentation of the bar was crucial.
