About Ryan Olson
I am a maker, I have been building things ever since I realized I could save cardboard boxes and toilet paper rolls in order to create any statue, machine, or vehicle I wanted. My skills went from hot gluing junk together, to Legos, to woodworking, to 3D printing, and now to metal working. My passion for making is why I am working so hard to become a mechanical engineer. I love understanding how things work and what requirements need to be met in order for things to work. I am in my happy place when I am able to work with others to design a product that solves an issue or satisfies a customer.
