Broad Oak II was formed in July 2012 as a start-up oil and gas company, backed by EnCap Investments; acquired acreage in the Permian Basin in 2013 using equity and bank financing and grew to a position of 25,000 net acres and 10,000 Boe/d. The Company sold its assets to Triple Crown Resources in March 2018. I was one of the initial employees; created HR function, led Accounting group, forecasting and budgeting, helped frame the story for sale, ongoing wrap up of Company affairs.

Broad Oak Energy was an independent start up oil and gas company formed in 2006, backed by Warburg Pincus. The Company merged with Laredo Petroleum in June 2011. I joined the Company in 2010 and elected to stay with Laredo for just over a year to help facilitate the merger, accounting system conversion, and work with the team on the IPO.

Interned in 2001 and started full-time directly after graduating college in January 2002; steadily promoted while taking on increasing levels of responsibility; developed extensive knowledge and expertise specializing in the upstream oil and gas industry. I served clients of both public entities and private independents.
