I ensure on-demand asset support for 1,500 aircraft across 99 bases spanning 10 Combatant Commands, managing stock control for over 900,000 items and $10.3 billion in inventory. I also oversee the validation of 75,000 stock levels and collaborate with lateral support agencies, MAJCOMs, and industry partners to address unique supply challenges assuring air dominance for tomorrow’s fight.

I currently oversee the largest Air Freight function at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. I oversee the day-to-day operations involved in the clearance of shipments into and out of the host nation. My team works directly with host-nation leaders to effectuate the clearance of all cargo, to include air, land and sea and draws its authority from the U.S. Department of State. The most important cargo is our priority aircraft parts that enter the country via commercial means, which ultimately translate into combat sorties in defeating the caliphate and the destruction of ISIS and its supporters.

As the OIC of Fleet at JBSA, I ensure key players and mission partners across the 88 square-mile JBSA span get the vehicles they require in order to perform their duties. I also guarantee that the 2,000+ vehicle fleet is right-sized and tailored to the needs of the 250 mission partners serving over 89,000 personnel across the DoD’s largest joint base.

As a Power Production Generator Technician, I install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Cummins, CAT, Atlas Copco, Generac, Kohler, Honda, and multiple other types of power generation equipment. I also install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair associated equipment such as load banks, ATSs, switch gears, electronics, and associated components of multiple brands. I have been named Employee of the Year in 2011 among 500+ employees. I have also been named Employee of the Quarter in 2014 among 200 colleagues. I have received training in Advanced Troubleshooting, Contingency Power Generation, NEC, NFPA 70E, Arc Flash, Bosch Fuel pumps and Governors, and more.My career is ongoing and I look forward to a bright future in the Power Generation career field.
