As a leader, I believe communication is the linchpin to successful operations, and I put the effort into keeping lines of communication open with team members, clients, and vendors. Whether it’s keeping everyone appraised of ongoing projects or stepping in to handle a tough conversation, I speak with respect and genuine friendliness. When things get tough, I’m comfortable working through change and uncertainty while supporting my team members. I didn’t get this far in my career without a strong desire to learn, and it has helped me as I’ve taken on new, interesting challenges at every turn. While I love to pick up new skills, I don’t have a problem with things being beyond my scope of personal influence. Instead, I work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create unique and innovative solutions. Having started my career as a community consultant, I confidently navigate complex operations while supporting dynamic teams. As a senior community consultant, I learned how to lead teams, organize operations, and improve revenue. Now, I support diverse operations while maintaining strong relationships with team members, vendors, and clients. From marketing to renovations, I’m always learning something new, and that doesn’t stop when I clock out. When I’m not working, I’m probably doing homework for my MBA or spending time with my family.
