Eyup, Ryan here and I hit things with sticks. I've played drums since I was too small to reach the kick pedal. As a drummer I’ve achieved so much more than I could have hoped for. Signed my first record deal at 18 and I've been in the industry ever since. Released 2 critically acclaimed albums with my first band and toured them extensively. In 2012 I was asked to join Reverend and the Makers and have since released 5 UK Top 20 Albums and played shows/festivals around the world. I've also been called in at very short notice to cover the drum stool for both the Vamps and the Subways.In 2015 alongside my work as a drummer I started to Drum Tech for a good friend of mine on his first headline UK Arena tour with the Vamps. My experience in the drum stool over the previous 15+ years meant I had a unique insight for what a pro drummer requires from his technician on tour. In the last 6 years we've visited over 60 countries together and my abilities as a drum tech have really developed exponentially.I also tech for Jason Bowld and Bullet For My Valentine. Jason is one of the best metal drummers on the planet and as such the role of his tech is of critical importance. He plays with such precision that the kit has to be perfect every night.Lastly I look after Ben from Biffy Clyro, Ben is one of my favourite drummers and favourite humans. Biffy are one of the best bands on the planet and it's a pleasure to be part of the Biffy crew.I'm also the Stage Manager for Bullet For My Valentine. I take personal responsibility for all aspects of taking our show into venues and getting us back out again as efficiently as possible. On fly shows we have been known to carry over 40 pieces of fly pack equipment so the Stage Manager role doesn't just mean getting the band on stage on time. Naturally after nearly 25 years in the game I have started to take on more management roles. I was the Stage Manager for the Girls Aloud Arena tour with 13 Trucks, 60 touring crew and 50 Local Crew. This was a massive step up in responsibility but I relished the opportunity and received some great praise for my performance.Afterwards I was promoted to the Tour Manager role with The Vamps.
