Developed ML applications for customer-facing intelligence products, including custom NLP models for classification, NER and relation extraction tasks, as well as tools for geospatial analysis and anomaly detection. Responsible for onboarding Kubernetes-native MLOps training and serving platform (Kubeflow + Seldon Core). Fine-tuned Large Language Model (LLM) to identify most critical assets in a cyber network. As a core engineer on Amex's Machine Learning Platform team I developed, tested and deployed scalable machine learning applications for enterprise use. Some key projects were centered around model monitoring, explainability and fairness. Additionally, I served as Lead ML Engineer on the development of location-based restaurant and hotel recommendation services.

As a mentor, I provided one-on-one technical mentorship to aspiring ML engineers and data scientists, guiding them through real-world ML projects.

As a data scientist within Covance Informatics, I was part of a small research team whose broad mission was to develop and explore statistical and machine learning strategies to improve various aspects of clinical trial operations (e.g., patient enrollment, risk forecasting and management, site optimization, study feasibility assessments, etc.). Some projects I worked on include statistical modeling and analysis of clinical trial risk monitoring systems and exploring predictive models to forecast risk. I also developed deep learning natural language processing (NLP) models (i.e., AWD-LSTM language modeling with PyTorch/fastai libraries) to classify and extract insights from trial protocol eligibility criteria text. In addition, I performed validation testing of statistical review software used for anomaly detection of clinical trial data.
