Software EngineeringPHP/MySQL/Datatables Development - Developing a variety of frontend and backend PHP processes. Maintaining and implementing additions to Frontier’s NMARS (Network Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Systems). NMARS hosts a variety of dashboards for engineers to monitor network health at a glance and determine solutions before network congestion affects end users. NMARS also provides a variety of reports for network monitoring and projecting bandwidth issues. HTML/CSS/Javascript/Typescript/jquery also utilized.

Web frontend interacts with server hosted API via JSON payloads. Application will be used company-wide across multiple departments, adding a great deal of automation to daily workflow.

Deliverable was a ArcGIS shape file.Web DevelopmentPython, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Postgis, Plpgsql Development - Co-Wrote and maintained “MMS” (Maintenance Management System), a geospatial information based web service for the Union Pacific Railroad. Site dynamically generates multi-zoom level maps of GPS data. Cell and GPS enabled tracking device attached to hyrails transmit spray state and geolocation information. Backend server algorithm snaps this data to UP track data. Website displays lines sprayed with specific chemical programs, as well as reports, graphs, and charts based on this data. SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Postgis, Python - Designed, developed, maintained real-time vehicle location tracking database. Vehicle tracking system interfaces with CANBUS and OBD-II ports on vehicles to obtain diagnostic information from the vehicle. Python - Designed various reporting systems based on vehicle tracking data:Trimble style reports with idle times and stop locationsSQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Postgis, Python - Designed a Category A Weed Mapping System for CDOT. Operator maps/photographs particularly invasive weeds with a smartphone and email alerts go out in real time. Pictures also are sent in real time and are available later for review.
