In my role I leverage data to provide diagnostic and prescriptive analysis to support business units within commercial lines at Nationwide. I accomplish this through a consultative approach that combines business process knowledge from the business units with data mining techniques to extract insight from large datasets. I utilize technologies such as SQL and Tableau to query and visualize data, and I apply predictive modeling and statistical analysis in Python and R languages to further mine data and uncover trends and relationships within it.

As asset manager at Wallick Communites I oversee a portfolio of properties. I provide owner representation to internal and external parties. I evaluate the monthly financial performance of the portfolio. I also provide analytical support regarding the debt structure of properties and how altering it can affect a properties performance. I generate ad hoc analysis when necessary to respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.

As an asset management analyst I was primarily responsible for monitoring the weekly performance of our portfolio as well as conducting monthly analysis of our value-add programs by generating descriptive statistics. I used yardi and excel extensively to generate, analyze, and deliver these report types. Additional duties included coordinating, and delivering monthly investor reporting packages, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting and analysis for dispositions. I was also involved in testing software platforms, and collaborating with team members on process improvement projects.

As a client relationship specialist I served as the main point of contact for over 250 loans. My duties included promptly responding to client inquiries, processing the release of escrow funds, quality control review of new loan input, and working with government agency contacts to ensure that our projects were compliant with their guidelines among many other duties. I was also been part of a working group to improve their document management system as well was my team’s coordinator for the document system. The position required me to use excellent communication skills and attention to detail to ensure the continued flow of accurate information as well as analytical thought to creatively solve problems.

As a deputy auditor in the Franklin County Auditor’s office I was assigned to the Board of Revision. This is a department within the real estate division that is responsible for hearing disputes regarding property value that affect taxes. While in this position I scheduled hearings to ensure that property owner’s and attorney’s representing more than one property owner could have multiple hearings on the same day. I also made sure that property files were complete with information for hearings. I was also able to gain an extensive knowledge of how tax amounts were calculated and how property values are determined.

As an Assistant Property Manager my duties included inspecting recently vacated apartments and turning them around to be put back on the market; running background checks on prospective tenants; working with tenants to resolve their maintenance issue; resolving noise complaints. I also assisted prospective tenants by showing them apartments that would meet their need. Lastly, I was heavily involved with redesigning our brochures and marketing materials as well as providing research and suggestions for updating our website.
