I am a hard-working, dedicated, and organized leader seeking an opportunity where my education, training, skills, and gifts can help a firm achieve its goals.I received a ‘call to serve’ my country after meeting and discussing this idea with veterans, my family and friends, and other mentors in my life. It was tough to give up my business and leave home, but I wanted to defend this nation and serve the citizens of the United States. I was deployed globally and was a non-commissioned officer in the Marine Corps, earning an E4 rank. I was quickly promoted to team leader and was responsible for the tactical operations of supply chain, logistics and operations projects. My job was to manage a team, follow orders, and exceed my commander’s expectations. I was honorably discharged in July of 2017.After my service time, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots and opened a new business that helped academically disadvantaged children by using a brain technique called neuroplasticity. My mother was a lifelong educator and needed my help in starting the business. As co-owner, we started tutoring out of our home and quickly expanded to expensive office space in Novi. We bought over 20 refurbished laptops and contracted with a software vendor to use video game exercises to reorganize the learning brain function in children. The success was exponential in terms of positive reviews from parents, teachers and even college professors. Sadly, both of my parents passed away within three years of each other, just as we were attempting to open a second location in another city.Investing in me is an investment in someone who will never let you down. My resume demonstrates that I am a self-starter, a leader, and I always get the job done. It also reveals my love of country and my willingness to set aside financial gain for doing what is right and just.
