In my role with WatchData, I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the channel. In this role, I was:• Ensuring that a suitable output of video-based content was being created to meet the channel's daily posting schedule.• Scheduling channel content.• Liaising between team members.• Organising and supporting the Senior team in their own roles.• Acting as a ‘safety net’, paying close attention to the finer details of the content.• Ensuring a lack of error and suitable optimisation before publishing content to YouTube.• Ensuring optimum productivity across the team and establishing effective workflows.

As the YouTube Channel Manager of WatchFiction, my role was divided between the day-to-day operations of the team and the creation of the video-based content itself. In my time with the channel, I:• Grew the channel to 220,000 subscribers.• Achieved 160,000,000+ views.• Successfully monetized the channel.In this role, I was:• Managing a team of 15 people including researchers, designers and editors where I provided briefs, support and feedback. • Growing the team, where I was heavily involved with the hiring process as well as elevating team members to roles of greater responsibility. • Overseeing the creation of all YouTube videos. Each video was overseen as an individual project, where I was involved from the inception of the idea, to the execution and finally the SEO YouTube optimisation. • Drawing insights from analytics provided by YouTube to optimise the video content for success across the platform’s key metrics and to highlight the kind of content that was seeing the most success.

My responsibility in meetings was to take detailed notes and make them available to the Senior team.• Conducting admin tasks across the Google Workspace, such as Google Docs and Google Sheets.• Assisting the Chiefs in their tasks.• Resolving workflow issues for the wider team.
