I'm a sophomore at Hostos, a CUNY located in the Bronx, with a passion for science and a strong desire to help others. My diverse background has shaped me into a well-rounded individual ready to impact positively.During my high school years, I gained valuable experience as an EXEC|COMM LLC intern, where I learned the ropes of working in a professional setting. This opportunity taught me the importance of professionalism, effective communication, and teamwork.I also had the privilege of working at Camp Twelve Trails, a camp promoting Jewish values, where I served as a General Counselor for second graders. In this role, I ensured the safety of the children while creating a fun environment. It was a rewarding experience that further developed my leadership and interpersonal skills.Outside of work and academics, I've dedicated myself to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for over twelve years. I am competing in numerous events throughout the tri-state area, including the internationals in Las Vegas. This has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of pushing beyond my limits.Looking ahead, I am excited to pursue nursing as my major, driven by my passion for science, innate desire to help others, and firsthand experience with sustaining injuries.
