I could start this section by quoting a definition for the word "eclectic", but I feel it's more impactful to give my own definition of the word through my own experiences. One can simply look to my resume to see that I have held a wide variety of positions throughout my professional career. In fact, I was recently told that my background was "eclectic" in an interview - which turned out to be a good thing! And who goes to college for seven years but doctors!? (If you know, you know). While there is nothing wrong with following the cookie cutter plan to success in life, I've always found it more enticing to pave my own path to lead me to victory. Never one to back down from a challenge, I give 110% of my effort to any project I involve myself with. The same can be said about my personal life as well. Passion drives my desire for everything I do. I've realized that I yearn for excellence in all of my extracurricular activities - whether that be flying a plane, working on my photography, or playing bass guitar in a local female-led rock band. I think this type of "renaissance man" approach to my hobbies is a peek into the window of how my skillset and professional mindset offer a new and fresh approach to today's challenges in the workplace.
