As long as I can remember I have always had a very analytic, methodical mindset that was misunderstood by most. This different perspective was nurtured growing up with engineers, lawyers, and real-world problem solvers. Add to this mix an engineering degree and a desire to create viable solutions for every problem that crosses my path and you've got some insight into what makes me a "Different Thinker.When people look at my experience they see a lot of things, but what do I hope you see? The highlights are not an encompassing list of what I can do, but rather a few examples of what I have done in order to enable companies to thrive. I also hope it shows that I have deliberately created a diverse range of skills that go far beyond what fit on a resume. I also hope that the listed accomplishments are recognized as solutions that were created to solve a unique set of challenges present in that specific company.This unique skill set enables me to facilitate communication and collaboration between the business, technical and management teams which leads to lower costs, faster implementations and less rework. Having spent nearly half my career focused on IT Security in Manufacturing, Finance Healthcare, and Defense every solution I create is security aware and ready to scale. It also has me always looking forward to solving the next "impossible" challenge.Combining these two has also led me successfully into management. I'm able to create teams with mutual respect built on the understanding that I won't ask for something I haven't or won't do myself. I thrive on the challenge of mentoring and teaching skills that I believe will position them to be successful as tomorrow's technology leaders.
