I am an entrepreneur, creative director, podcaster, remote work advocate, brand relationship consultant, author, and speaker committed to building authentic end-to-end relationships for my clients — from top management to top consumer. My unique philosophy puts specific importance on human relationships and their inherent value in business and life. I believe that as a society, we are reaching a kind of technological saturation point, which is leaving consumers anxious and yearning for tactile human experiences, and it is that core ethic that fuels my purpose — to bring people together.Fun facts: • For several years, I managed musical acts and had the opportunity to see much of the US from the window of a tour bus. • I once worked for an NYT best-selling author, establishing and managing his mail-order operation and online store. I illustrated books, laid them out, and distributed them to some of the biggest names in publishing, moving hundreds of thousands of books in the process. I was also a significant player in creating what would eventually become my employer's world-class "museum of clean." • After years of working as an independent designer, I sought agency experience in an unlikely way. As a young designer with a budding "creative agency" — despite having never set foot in an agency of any kind — I contacted more than two dozen ad agencies in larger markets surrounding my hometown, a small town in Southeast Idaho. Of all of the requests I sent, only one agency replied. I learned all I could, working long hours that month, then parted ways. Two years later, they became my first official agency employer hiring me away (temporarily) from my small business. • Since 2005, I have primarily worked independently, chasing the occasional rare, exciting contract opportunity along the way. As an early adopter of a "work from anywhere" attitude — born in the back of a tour bus — I've leveraged remote work to collaborate with talent worldwide. I have been blessed to be able to do what I love and consistently provide for my family and, by extension, to those of the many individuals who have contributed to my operation over the years. • In building relationships, I have developed a particular affinity for Spain, its people, and Spanish culture in general. I have had the opportunity to learn Spanish, put my children through Spanish immersion schools, and host 5 Spanish exchange teachers in our home. I love to cook Spanish food and am reasonably good at it. Lord willing, we'll live there one day (at least part-time). #WillWorkForJamon
