I am the Director of Engineering / Research & Development at the Dan T. Moore Company. I obtained my M.S. Degree in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry at Miami University. The focus was on enamine-metal bound Lewis acid catalysis to promote high enantiomeric excess of multicomponent reactions. Upon completion of my degree I continued my research at Texas A&M University, where I continued my research and education for the next year. During this period, my focus was on utilizing the coordination complex of a Werner Catalyst to promote enamine catalysis and orientation from its H-bond donating sights. This research resulted in high yielding and highly enantiomerically pure products that can be use in a variety of industrial applications.Today, I utilize the problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical skills I developed in the research lab to structure the development processes throughout the Dan T. Moore Company Portfolio. I work with the startup/seed companies in the portfolio to develop new technologies and production line optimizations that help satisfy an unmet need in the industry while being competitively priced. These products span multiple sectors of the manufacturing industry, from automotive (composite technologies, stamping, die cutting, non-woven materials and die castings) to military helmets, with sectors such as polymer extrusion and green roofing in between.
