68W Combat Medic
CurrentNationally Certified EMT-BEMT-B is a requirement for combat medics; I received a month and a half of EMT-B training/testing, and took the NREMT followed by two and a half months of training on a paramedic skill level focusing around the following skills; basic pharmacology, pre hospital trauma life support, clinical internship, primary care and prevention, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, intravenous as well as intraosseous infusion, emergency cricothyroidotomy, packing/dressing wounds, severe hemorrhage control, needle chest decompression, treating for shock, and the overall sustainment of life.
