My life, from a very young age, has revolved around STEM. At every step, I have been enraptured by the wonder of human progress and engaged with it in turn. I've entered in Mathlete competitions, planned fluid systems for model rockets, conducted research in psychology, and managed a facility filled with high-end computers. Finding my place within STEM has taken much trial and error, but my resilience has not wavered.As a part of both the engineering and gaming sphere, my path has bounced against programming. My peripheral interest in it grew over time, from my first C class to helping a friend with his introduction to game design. I had been hesitant to take the dive in, since the amount of learning required seemed overwhelming. However, thanks to a change in my circumstances and a newfound appreciation for challenges, I took the plunge into a web-dev bootcamp. I'm very glad I did, as not only am I comfortable working on these projects, but I look forward to each one. My biggest strengths, analytical reasoning and quick learning, allow me to rise to every occasion, even when faced with something completely new.With this new experience finishing soon, I plan to continue moving the needle of human progress forward. My goal is to put my passion towards exciting new projects as a Full-Stack Developer, with a focus on the clean energy sector. Hopefully, I will be part of a team that implements programs and software which people around the world will use to receive and engage with emerging energy technologies.
