Working on all stages of the Design process. From concept through to Design for manufacture. Taking technical drawings and sketches to translate them in to accurate working digital/physical models. These models would be used to create photo realistic render to present to potential clients. Prototypes were created for various projects in house whereas others were specialist and passed on to various manufacturers. Teaching new staff various modeling software and managing through ongoing projects. Occasional site visits to manufactures were needed to build relations and to monitor production. Spanish lessons were not compulsory yet proved to be beneficial throughout the duration of the role. Some projects were to re-create parts for appliances that were currently in production. Strategizing new marketing Ideas, updates for the business website and general concept generations were all part of this role.

I was part of a two man team who built a database to hold all of the Operations, Maintenance and Installation Manuals for the buildings the company were constructing. Working with my line manager we built manuals for 5 schools and a pharmaceutical company based around an area stretching from Darlington, up to and around the Newcastle Upon Tyne.My main role was to construct an interactive disk (Similar to a website loaded from a CD) which contained all of the same information in an easier to find manner. This helped the company bring O&M manuals in to a new era.
