Data Analyst/Statistician SpecialistFis Nov 2017 - Aug 2020Jacksonville, Fl, UsDatabase:I built a SQL data lake/warehouse (DLW) with central IT to support internal audit testing and internal reporting. The server current incorporates 10 automated feeds (SSIS & SFTP) with ~133 tables to support corporate audit functions. Product data is segmented in a separate container firewall, and requires physical authentication before data can be processed, there are 3 databases in the DLW that work this way and they are used for scripted-procedural testing of a product's data assets. Internal Reporting:I have rebuild internal audit reporting from manual processes to fully autonomous, using SMTP & Power BI as delivery methods. Reporting consists of 42 stored procedures, 31 SMTP stored procedures, and 5 Power BI reports (updated via PBI gateway) that provide management custom alerts as well as static email and dynamic Power BI reporting for everything from timesheets, project milestones, and individual user contributions. This also supports bi-monthly company-wide and quarterly audit committee reporting of open audit issues.Audit Support:Aside from my data access- I also import, normalize, join, aggregate, and summarize data provided to me by audit teams to fulfill more complex "big data" testing or provide answers to have more meaningful conversations with management. Where applicable I serve as a subject matter expert and train staff on self-service access to data and tools. My access and expertise has led me to supporting 23 audits in 2019 (~22% of all audits in 2019) in this fashion. I've also automated data entry with Powerapps (& Flow) and Power BI inventorying with PowerShell, and help other teams throughout FIS.-SQL, Power BI, Data Modelling, Data Analysis, DBA, DevOps, SSIS, PythonSpecialist 2020, Senior 2017 - 2020 -

Crime AnalystMilwaukee Police Department Jul 2014 - Feb 2016Milwaukee, Wi, UsI create reports using SAP Crystal Reports and SQL server management studios to retrieve data from our SQL servers, I use custom formulas and cross tabs to create reports and fulfill ad hoc requests.I am currently in the process of creating dashboards (in Tableau) for the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) major crime categories, as well as officer activity. These boards are interactive and used for self-service data. They are supported by SQL queries automated through a batch file.I designed, automated, and manage the Complaint Statistics (CompStat) reports that are used by administrative command staff every week to discuss crime trends and focuses on violent crime and proactive activity. This report contains over 84 charts and graphs that are linked to an excel file where data can be pasted from a Crystal Report cross tab, this excel file contains VBA macros and formulas that automate the formatting of all of the custom chart designs. The macros are also used to link Powerpoint files to new Excel files as well as prepare the Excel document for new data. These meetings cost tax payers between $300,000 and $750,000 annually.I automated officer performance measure reporting system in MS excel using VBA macros, this code creates Johari windows using an algorithm that assigns officers based on their metric's deviation from the median of the data.
