Develop interactive data visualizations related to global health using D3.js.

• Developed a research program in 3D outcrop analysis of fractured rocks using UAV's and photogrammetry• Mentored graduate and undergraduate research assistants• Generated graduate and undergraduate level course content and taught classes in quantitative structural geology, geological field techniques, and computer methods, with excellent evaluations across all courses

• Coded and validated structural analysis methods in C++ to predict stress, strain, and rock fracture• Maintained and debugged commercial 3D structural restoration software

• Developed commercial 3D geomechanical restoration software (Geomechanical Module) that became an integral part of subsurface fracture prediction workflows for internal consulting projects• Successfully marketed Geomechanical Module and Move software resulting in software sales and consulting projects from several major oil companies• Guided the use of the Geomechanical Module on technical consulting projects to ensure scientific validity

• Designed and published a new geomechanical forward modeling technique using Perl and C based geomechanical software (Shackleton and Cooke, 2007)• Collected and analyzed fracture data from a fractured reservoir analog in the Spanish Pyrenees (Shackleton et al, 2011)• Built a 3D model of the reservoir analog to test and validate geomechanical restoration algorithms• Geomechanically restored 3D models to predict fracturing associated with folding and faulting

• Conducted detailed field and fracture mapping to understand the influence of stratigraphy and folding on fracture development and carbonate reservoir behavior• Evaluated the applicability of fault related fold models by comparing fracture predictions from kinematic forward models to fracture patterns mapped in the field

• Constructed a regional cross section through the central Alaskan Brooks Range foothills using seismic, field, and well data to evaluate the reservoir potential of the region
