We create community housing environments for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. I am researching the viability of our next project, Delta House. Delta House will house troubled veterans.

I reach out to individuals through job fairs, ads, in person and many other ways. Through MSC's strategic partners, I show these individuals about the services and products that we can offer in a variety of markets and that we can out-compensate, through the synergy of the group, even the big acquirers and processors that board our clients.It's my responsibility once these individuals are trained and producing to creatively ensure that their needs are met, take the pressure off of the new associates, help them plan their career and show them ways to work towards their objectives in a measurable way.The most important thing and most difficult thing that I do is to foster the group dynamic, charged with polar personalities and any variant between, to keep the team mentality alive. We never let someone new go home on Friday empty-handed. If selfishness were to creep in and the heavy internal competition, that some models instigate, it wouldn't go well with this team and the way we operate.

Merchant advocacy is payment processing sales squared. MSC doesn't work for any processor, we provide the same services & products, however we work for the small business, offering several processors' solutions that create a layer of competition for our clients that cannot be offered by a processor's sales force. Advocates represent the credit card accepting business to several processors. Most of the credit card fees go to the banks, so it is important to make sure that the merchants are reaping all of the benefits of a solid payment processing strategy and paying only a fair share to the processors. That's my specialty. If you haven't compared rates and services in the payment industry in at least a year, MSC will offer a lower rate and any specifics you want or pay your next month's processing tab. MSC is the only payment processing service provider that represents the client, not the direct sales organization.

I agreed to forego my nonexclusive modus operandi and submitted accounts through this single local business at the request of a friend and the person who managed the first merchant service office I ever worked at. It didn't work out. I found an offshore group of high risk companies that wanted to pay high risk rates to process credit cards and at first the owner didn't want the group. After I took them to another direct processor, she asked me why I didn't bring them to her. Bless her heart, she worked so hard, but at the end of the day, we had two different segments that we marketed to. That and I never was paid for a sale I made there, but I think they are a great company and wires got crossed. That's all. I love working for Merchant Service & Credit because I don't have to be an independent contractor/employee, an awkward position to be in. Great company, with 30 years of experience and I learned a lot in the short time I was there. I still consider them as an ally and not so much competition.

My years volunteering at Teen Challenge were the best of my life, and it put sanctions and regulations on my life that normally weren't there. I had the power to act in my life and a synergistic capability that I hadn't yet seen.I was openly out for myself only, before working with these amazing individuals and this program that has helped drug addicts, alcoholics, or anyone with a life controlling problem. It's a very successful program and I am proud to have had the opportunity to volunteer for this organization. I miss the volunteer environment and intend to return soon.

Our job on a daily basis, consisted of vehicle and equipment maintenance, battle preparedness, physical training and continued education.Monthly, we had renew our Jump Status by participating in a airborne jump.Randomly, 3 - 40 day field exercises were conducted, and we would perform our tasks as if in a wartime situation. The tasks were to jump into a drop-zone, create a grid map with our GPS and mapping equipment, superimpose the map over the territory and communicate with rest of the unit where to aim the cannons.
