Construction/Commissioning Leading Hand Mechanical Isolator

• Work closely with the senior management team to coordinate Permit to Work (PTW) and mechanical isolations for structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) activities in construction, commissioning and operations areas throughout Utilities, LNG Trains, Gas Turbine Generators (GTG’s) and Inlet areas• Walked work fronts to determine isolation requirements then designed and installed safe mechanical isolations in compliance with site Permit to Work (PTW) standards and procedures for construction, commissioning and operations • Conducted detailed reviews of mechanical isolation designs, as well as audits in-line with the mechanical isolations schedule, and ensured all certificates and drawings were marked-up correctly• Worked collaboratively with client and contractor interfaces to identify Permit requirements for high-risk activities and identified SIMOPS issues to prevent work front conflicts in priority areas• Provided hands-on coaching in the correct use of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, and isolation procedures and standards• Ensured risk mitigation requirements arising from SIMOPS meetings were clearly communicated to impacted crews• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings including P&IDs, schematics, isometrics and project plans
