Level III Definition and Design on the New Shepard Propulsion Module.-Design and stress analysis of primary structure including specific experience and interest in structural optimizationTask Lead, Design and Integration for NASA Sensor Tipping Point Project-Design Task Lead from contract signature to successful payload flight-Complete white sheet design -Project included 700+ detail parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies-Project included work from the Structures, Avionics, Avionics Hardware, Harnessing, Manufacturing, Test, and Integration teams-Project met an aggressive schedule timeline including challenging parallel design effort with partner (NASA)-Awarded Blue Origin Gradatim Ferociter, Team award, and Lift Off awards.

Level III Material Review Board Engineer-Provided Engineering support to Boeing's radically new FAUB (Fuselage Automated Upright Build) manufacturing process while still in its experimental phase. -Co-authored and co-signed a change to a program structural requirement document.-Developed analysis tools for evaluating statistical sampling using binomial and variable data.-Drafted and signed repairs to the first fuselage sections to go through a completely new build process to meet ultimate, fatigue, corrosion and reworkability design service objectives.-Trained to design repairs with secondary consideration to shop produce-ability, schedule, and cost.-Near constant work reverse engineering primary load structure, including identifying load path and first order strength assessment and sizing.-Repairs include structural scarf repairs to the carbon fiber floor beams.-Repairs often require material selection based on strength, fatigue, and durability.-Occasionally coordinate repairs with Boeing Stress, Materials Process, and Project Engineers.

-Secured over $22,000 in donations and material to complete build of two new hulls.-Studied and analyzed NACA shapes to propose (2) low drag, high stability shapes at low reynolds numbers.-Obtained use of University of Maryland wind tunnel to compare student built hulls.-Selected hull based off test data and presented research findings to AIAA.
