I am a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at Sargent & Lundy. During my employment, I have gained thoroughly understood engineering project development, design, and delivery, employing expert engineering knowledge and certified project management skills. The attainments of my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Professional Engineer (PE) license reflect my expertise and experience in these knowledge areas.I currently lead eighteen (18) interrelated projects concurrently as the Principal / Responsible Engineer. In addition, I have facilitated seven (7) other Engineering Changes as the Principal/Responsible Engineer. In this role, I am responsible for all aspects of the project, including technical scope, budget, and schedule management and control. I take principal responsibility for all phases the engineering design delivery while working with various stakeholders, including other engineering disciplines and our clients’ operational representatives. These internal and client interfaces ensure that technical and system integration designs fulfill the project requirements, including developed functional requirements and associated acceptance criteria.I follow client and industry procedures while leading technical designs to adhere to best practices. I am the point of contact for project stakeholders, liaising with internal team members, clients, and vendors to build and maintain relationships. I effectively communicate project and task statuses to balance differing demands and recommend actions. I also contribute to the continuous improvement system to identify conditions adverse to quality, proposing immediate and long-term solutions.For business development, I have authored four (4) proposal and contributed to many more. For marketing, I have created a brochure to highlight Sargent & Lundy's Human Factor Engineering expertise and available services. For talent acquisition, I have interview fifty-three (53) technical engineering applicants, advising engineering management and Human Resources during the hiring process. For talent development, I have mentored two (2) engineers and completed three (3) performance reviews.
