Leading the development of the Platform built with .NET Core on AWS

Co-Founded the company and created the site using ASP.NET Core MVC\WebApi. Hosted in Azure. Using VSTS for Git source code and custom CI/CD build and release pipelines.Front end developed using VueJS, bundled using code-splitting from Webpack

Architected and Led the front-end re-write of the Student Portal in VueJS. Standardised validation across the solution, and created many re-useable input components for front-end standardisation. Helped architect various backend processing services and improved/refactored large numbers of .NET Core services.SEO and Performance improvements on www.law.ac.uk. Went from 9/100 to 63/100. Rewrote large parts of JavaScript, CSS to be more efficient/succinct. Implemented code-splitting in Webpack to further reduce sizes of JS/CSS

Led the frontend re-architecture to VueJS. Taught the team about state management using VueX. Created a library of components for the team to use across the application. Created custom components for common data inputs required by the system.Setup, configured and coded Identity Server for a custom Delegration Grant Flow. Allowing a 3rd party application to operate on behalf of a single user.Performance improvements to the server-side code. Kept a close eye on performance using Azure Application Insights, identifying bottlenecks and more efficient ways of performing operations, whilst keeping functionality the same.

Contract Software Developer building a custom framework (and two implemenations) for the Focus:360 System to authenticate and perform money movements with external Wrap Platforms via REST APIs.Used .NetCore with best patterns and practices to ensure scalability and consistency. Implemented an error handling system, which ensures that when HTTP errors occur, or partial requests/responses are encountered then the system does not result in an incorrect state, instead failing gracefully and being in a state which allows immediate retries and no data loss.

Helped Design/Implement functional, structural and UI changes to the OLTP system. Full stack role ranging from Front End Web Development skills, all the way to C# (.NET Core) and SQL (SPs, Views etc). Was part of the team to design/architect the Azure Functions (Http/Queue Triggers) processing for real-time data capture and insertion into the system (to aid reporting). Made cosmetic changes to the Dashboards, maximising real-estate whilst refreshing the UI with some CSS3 animations/transitions

Worked within the dev team to increase the performance of the legacy (existing) application. Designed, architected and developed new "Earned Recognition" front-end functionality - demoed at the yearly CV show. Lead server side developer for the new greenfield (re-write) of the company's main web application. Senior Developer on the front-end Angular 4/5/6+ application, using NgRx to create re-usable modules to mimic (and improve) functionality present in the legacy application
