While volunteering my work mainly involved caring for the owls and ensuring that their husbandry and welfare needs were met. However as a volunteer I was also able to be involved in educating members of the public during displays and assisting in classrooms. This primarily involved teaching young people about the importance of preserving wildlife and nature. while also discussing the birds basic biology and behaviour.
