Responsible for the operation, performance and quality of customer's Health Information Exchanges (HIE). These act as healthcare data repositories for the medical community to access data to fill in data gaps of care if the users are granted consent. Work closely with software vendors, end customers, internal developers and management.Responsible for overseeing software upgrades and code change releases. Oversee a team of Configuration and Release Engineers responsible for configuring changes to the system and initial analysis on reported issues. Also oversee a team of Software Engineers responsible for resolving break fix issues.Member of the Architecture Review Board for overseeing architecture changes to the system and responsible for reviewing and approving any changes. Also a member of the Emergency Management Response Team (EMRT) for dealing with emergency situations.

Responsible for all aspects of the operation, maintenance, and software deployment, for all production software environments including: the Health Information Exchange, data gateways, and SHIN-NY connectivity.The Information Exchange manager supervises a team of personnel who are responsible for day-to-day operation of all production software, supervise deployment of new software to the production environment, maintain documentation of the production system configurations, troubleshoot systems, and provide 24x7 on-call support in the event of system failure.The requirements for this position include software development experience, extensive knowledge of and experience with the Intersystems Healthshare platform, attention to detail, process orientation, and strong leadership skills.
