I’ve been a builder my whole life and my whole career -- Rube Goldberg machines turned into robotics turned into software. Throughout all of this, I’ve been motivated by creating new things, challenging the status quo, and ultimately, making other people’s lives better. As a product leader, I love helping mission-oriented companies unleash a higher gear of innovation. I believe that teams work at their best when directly connected to users to understand their needs, collaborating fully with one another in a dynamic low-formality manner, and by taking a curious approach to experimentation and shipping. My deep perspective on the craft of software development, enabling organizations to shift towards outcome orientation and empowered product team model. Product and design are a huge piece of this puzzle, but I also build connective tissue across organizations so that collaboration happens up, down, and across the org – enabling everyone to launch and grow products. I use humor and insight to forge strong relationships, and a coaching approach to help my team reach new levels. Product conviction needs to built into the scaffolding of a company, and I’m great at getting my hands dirty to do it.
