Indigenous Tech Circle formed a National Nonprofit with an Incorporation date of June 21st, 2024 to align with National Indigenous People's Day. Our group was already in the hundreds as a grassroots movement before Incorporation. My role:✔️ Established and led the formation of the non-profit organization focused on empowering Indigenous professionals in the tech sector.✔️ Assembled a 100% Indigenous -led board of directors to drive the strategic vision and governance of the organization.✔️ Facilitate board meetings, ensuring governance, programming, and community impact alignment.✔️ Develop and implement programming to support Indigenous-led innovation and career development in technology.✔️ Lead initiatives to secure funding, build partnerships, and drive membership growth.✔️ To ensure long-term success, focus on creating sustainable revenue models.
