Beginning in August 2017, I demonstrated as a teacher, educational technology expert, and administrator:• As a classroom teacher, I was an indispensable member of the team, developing courses in 7 subjects in 5 years demonstrating curriculum expertise and pedagogical mastery in a variety of subjects. • My role as the school's educational technology expert involved technology integration and ICT support for the school's administration and teaching staff, providing helpful and practical knowledge and advice. • In addition to teacher support, I administered the school’s student information systems (SRS, LMS), and assist with the admin and teaching teams with integration of technology, including ed-tech tools and LMS integration.• As a vice-principal, I led the school’s culture and inclusive community, as well as championing a successful transition to a new provincial curriculum. I have provided student support for at-risk students, offered counseling and mediation, as well as encouraged the development and growth of key programs at my school such as student council, house teams, digital literacy, and tech-team. • In both my teaching practice and my instructional leadership roles, I progressively utilized modern pedagogy and latest educational technologies, designed and implementing courses that were both hybrid in-class/online, and fully online programs; this skill and experience was instrumental to our school’s successful transition to fully online, and back to in-person classes during COVID lockdown in 2020.

The Daegu Global Education Center (DGGEC) coordinator is responsible for many duties at the, including smooth operations of Native English Teacher (NET) classes and programs, comprehensive planning and organization, support for NET and Korean English Teacher (KET) lesson planning and management, and coordinating DGGEC and Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (DMOE) classes and programs at the center. The coordinator is responsible for facilitating the smooth running and organization of the Center’s 3 main Day Programs (Practical English, Culture Program, and the English Library Program) as well as the many the extra-curricular programs offered in evenings, weekends, and online. The coordinator provides technology assistance and support for the development of online curriculum, utilizing the DGGEC's website, as well as the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).A key responsibility of the coordinator is the educational leadership and quality control of lesson planning and lesson delivery of the 17 native teachers at the Global Center; offering continued support and feedback to the teaching team to offer continuous growth and improvement of Center staff.As the head teacher, the coordinator assumes all of the duties of a regular Native English Teacher, teaching full time throughout the week in addition to administrative, planning, and facilitation duties. The head teacher is responsible for teaching the flagship programs at the DGGEC, including the heading up the prestigious Daegu Foreign Language Institute for the Gifted (DFLIG), the Principals Language Training Program, and the Elementary Book Palette program.
