As an Africa Leadership Initiative Venture - Working to establish Education Finance in South Africa and Rwanda in partnership with Kaizenvest, USAID and Palladium. Kaizenvest is an education investor that invests in education companies that can deliver critical outcomes at scale using innovative business models that disrupt the education status quo.

Focused on the Venture Capital sector, invested in VC Funds in South Africa. Worked to establish new VC funds with Hlayisani Capital, Savant Capital, 4Di Capital, Grindstone Ventures, Knife Capital, Digital Africa Ventures (DAV) and the University Technology Fund (UTF); active through Investment Committee or Advisory Board seats.

Co-Founded SPARK Schools; primarily acted as the companies COO, responsible for leading expansion, operational and strategic activities of the organisation across various functions, including, information systems, property, marketing, procurement and compliance. Developed and executed on strategy relating to organisational growth and operating procedures.

Supported various organisation wide Business Information System projects and processes, including business process improvement. BC Hydro is a Canadian electric utility mandated to generate, purchase, distribute and sell electricity.

After graduating from Rhodes University, applied for a H-1B visa to work in the USA. Traveled to Aspen and Snowmass, Colorado between 2006 and 2007 for the Colorado Ski season (to work and ski).
