Maintained, constructed, tuned and repaired nitro and electric motor powered R/C cars and planes (long time, expensive hobby). Built motorized bikes involving a 50cc, 2-cycle motor and clutch assembly and installing other various components onto a mens mountain bike such as sprockets and clutch/throttle cables, fuel lines and a distributor. Worked on other small engines such as lawn mowers, weed whackers and go-cart engines. Repaired mechanical and cosmetic issues as well as modify cars and motorcycles. Lots in between not coming to mind at this moment...

Good work environment. Co-workers are pleasant. Management is (for the most part) fair, reasonable and personable. I enjoyed what I did there, but I also take my pride in what I do, so that's one reason I had to move on. It pays the billsbarely, however a mandatory 48 hour work week (plus weekends here and there; mandatory) leaves for little time for living a desirable life.

HEAVY Quickbooks use. Maintain payment of scheduled federal and state monthly, quarterly and yearly taxes for multiple businesses. Time calculation and W-4 payroll as well as yearly issuing of W-2's for the employees of multiple businesses. Organizing, proper filing and classification of accounts payable. Create invoices, intake payments (accounts receivable) and deposit monies for businesses. Reconciliation and Profit & Loss reports. General Journal entries when needed for adjustment of discrepancies. Maintain direct contact with businesses for accuracy and satisfaction purposes.

Had to be physically fit and have the bare ability (and will) to be able to carry up to 100 combined pounds of tools, safety/survival gear and fire related equipment to the wildfire or prescribed burn site to be able to work and hike for a 10-16 hour day. Properly dig fire line and remove debris from the line. Pay special attention to and maintain proper diet and water levels, as well as electrolyte levels. Consistently indicate, take readings and report fire weather conditions (temp, wind speed and direction, relative humidity, topographical related weather conditions). Route fire perimeter with a GPS. Coordinate with the fires Incident Commander and the U.S./state forest service. "Hold Line" - Stand ground near and right up to the fire line to ensure that the fire and embers do not cross over from the "black" to the "green," and if it does, clear communication of the "spot" (where the fire line crosses or an ember lands and begins to burn the surrounding material) needs to be made and conscious firefighting procedures need to be immediately executed. "Gridding" - A procedure used to check and re-check burned acreage by a fire crew hiking in the same direction, side by side, at a specified distance between each other (forming parallel lines as trails), searching for continued or possibly delayed fire activity until the area is clear (of activity). Lay down fire line in a grid-like pattern via a driptorch (a canister with a looped spigot that allows a regulated flow of gas/diesel mix over/through a lit wick). Consistent maintenance and replenishment of fire tools and equipment for safety, performance and federal standards and specifications.

Assistant property manager of 5 Mobile Home parks. Collected rents and made daily deposits. Proper recording of every check written and deposit made in check book including sub-accounting (or %age) of each properties share of accountability.
