Financial Administrator - Resource Management Department
CurrentProvide oversight and direction to the Seminole County Fire Department. Performing analysis and financial reporting on behalf of the Department for County management, elected officials, as well as other municipalities and agencies. Report directly to Seminole County CFO. Primary job functions consist of the following:- administration of ambulance transport billing and all other Fire Department related revenues- assessing financial and operational impacts of collective bargaining proposals and agreements- auditing; internal monitoring of all Department financial activities as well as coordination of responses for all internal and external audits- budgeting; development and monitoring- forecasting revenues and expenditures- grant administration; writing grant applications, execution, progress reporting, closeouts, and all subsequent audits- project management; CIP project as well as cross-departmental and intra-agency initiatives - procurement; preparing scopes for bids and proposals, evaluating submissions from vendors, reviewing and approving all expenditures
