As a journeyman powerline technician I had the general responsibilites as a powerline technician. I was also consistantly in a leadership possition within these companies. Daily activities included climbing power poles and towers, operating heavy equipment such as; boom trucks, picker trucks, diggers/augers, backhoe's, nodwells, and helicopter work. I was always working on and around energized powerlines, so safety in extreme danger situations has always been a priority of mine.
