Identified and set strategic priorities and operational oversight of system-wide air and ground medical transport service consisting of 2 helicopters, and 4 critical care ground ambulance bases. Since initial hire, responsibilities have increased to include development of a statewide Access Center and Operator Services.► Recognized and the 2018 Critical Care Ground Award of Excellence by the Association of Air Medical Services► Expansion of Transfer/Access Center from regional to statewide► Created Safety, Quality, Education, Equipment and Outreach Committees, improving productivity.► Implemented system-wide Quality Management System, Safety Management System and ElectronicMedical Record (ImageTrend).► Re-negotiated 20 Paramedic Intercept contracts with local ambulance services.► Achieved accreditation from CAMTS for rotor wing (helicopter), ground critical care ambulance and fixed wing (airplane).► Expanded 2 ground ambulance bases and added a fixed wing (airplane) transport service. ► Restructured charge process to ensure accurate billing practices and regulatory compliance. ► Consolidate Operator Services statewide saving 15+ FTE’s (> $500,000 per year).► Restructure of air and ground medical transportation service saving $3.5 million per year.
