Acted as technical lead for evaluating and integrating new products built on embedded Linux and Android. Served as level I, II, and III technical support for end-users and installers.Day-to-day tasks involved designing, coding, integrating, and testing for embedded, life-safety products. Ported pure C firmware to C/C++ mutli-threaded Linux / Android applications. Adapted control software for 2G/CDMA/HSPA cellular radios that provide end-to-end communication between customers' systems and Alarm.com's backend.

Pikewerks Corporation was acquired by Raytheon in December 2011. Became Raytheon Pikewerks.This position afforded me an opportunity to guide the research and innovation initiatives of Pikewerks, an extremely exciting and challenging cyber security technology company. The portfolio of research projects over which I had oversight consisted of over a dozen projects with about twenty research engineers. Projects ranged in scope from months to years and thousands to millions of dollars. This position presented ever-challenging requirements that demanded near-term, effective, and cutting-edge solutions that fit a product road-map. The research team missed no deadlines, demonstrations exceeded expectations, and customer retention was the standard.As the mobile security technical lead, I was invited to speak to customers and technical colleagues on the kernel and system-level security concerns for Android devices. The technologies our team developed in anti-forensics, software protection, device hardening, and kernel-level forensics are used in critical and demanding applications / deployments.

Contributed to research and development efforts on cyber security products for Linux-based systems. The targeted products focused on the following areas: live memory forensics, anti-tamper / anti-reverse engineering solutions, and kernel-level protections for Android-based systems.
