Was a lead integration engineer for the Artificial Intelligence Cyber Challenge (AIxCC) Semifinals competition. Also known as "thing-008" in Github to the participants.I lead the development of the AIxCC aggregate scoring algorithm, audit log parsing of submissions, and Challenge Problem sandbox while also finalizing competition-time Challenge Problem artifacts.Also acted as one of the technical documentation leads for published contemt.

My contributions cover the full range of activities within a bootstrapped startup. Primary responsibilities include operations, developing and executing sales strategies, partner outreach, product integration, and customer support.Technical roles include acting as the primary point of contact for the development, maintenance, and customization of Splunk apps and dashboards that use Layer8Insight data. Other tasking includes evaluating time-series analytics technologies (e.g., InfluxDB) as potential integration targets for Layer8Insight.

Technical consultant for embedded Linux / Android products within Alarm.com's portfolio. Provided expertise and feedback regarding the evaluation of system designs, partner / product integration, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and various wireless / communication technologies.

Supported the development and integration of new products / services that bolster the Alarm.com portfolio of security, automation, remote monitoring, and other wireless technologies. Acted as technical lead for evaluating and integrating new products built on embedded Linux and Android. Served as level I, II, and III technical support for end-users and installers.Day-to-day tasks involved designing, coding, integrating, and testing for embedded, life-safety products. Ported pure C firmware to C/C++ mutli-threaded Linux / Android applications. Adapted control software for 2G/CDMA/HSPA cellular radios that provide end-to-end communication between customers' systems and Alarm.com's backend.

Pikewerks Corporation was acquired by Raytheon in December 2011. Became Raytheon Pikewerks.This position afforded me an opportunity to guide the research and innovation initiatives of Pikewerks, an extremely exciting and challenging cyber security technology company. The portfolio of research projects over which I had oversight consisted of over a dozen projects with about twenty research engineers. Projects ranged in scope from months to years and thousands to millions of dollars. This position presented ever-challenging requirements that demanded near-term, effective, and cutting-edge solutions that fit a product road-map. The research team missed no deadlines, demonstrations exceeded expectations, and customer retention was the standard.As the mobile security technical lead, I was invited to speak to customers and technical colleagues on the kernel and system-level security concerns for Android devices. The technologies our team developed in anti-forensics, software protection, device hardening, and kernel-level forensics are used in critical and demanding applications / deployments.

Contributed to research and development efforts on cyber security products for Linux-based systems. The targeted products focused on the following areas: live memory forensics, anti-tamper / anti-reverse engineering solutions, and kernel-level protections for Android-based systems.
