Sales Director
Current• Identify opportunities to provide engineering, modeling, and surveying services to prospective clients and strategically position the firm to acquire new business.• Develop and facilitate winning strategies from opportunity identification to RFQ/RFP through the interview and follow-up to award.• Proactively identify new business opportunities for the company• Prepare content for and present at a public or private sales meeting with new clients, their teams, and staff.• Perform market research to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of customer budgets, capabilities required, current customer preference, and competitive environment assessments.• Coordinate and conduct meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and team members to develop market insight on the requirement, acquisition strategy, and acquisition timing.• Develop a sales strategy focused on company requirements, service offerings, company capacity, financial gain, and customer satisfaction.• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and make recommendations to department leaders.• Work with the Marketing team to produce content for the company newsletter, marketing content, sales, and promo materials.• Keep BD systems updated to track, achieve, and report on BD activities, outcomes, and success.• Attend company meetings to keep informed on company growth, technology, and service advancements/capabilities and track production capacity.• Attending or exhibiting at conferences, tradeshows, or events to market services and acquisition new sales prospects.• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings, corporate planning sessions, and retreats.• Show growth or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
