As an active member of the Investment Club at Belmont Abbey College (1/13 spots), I am on the research committee which looks into different stocks and ETFs/Mutual Funds by looking at companies' 10k's and calculating various ratios/statistics (Current Ratio, Inventory Turnover, Working Capital, Profit Margin, etc.). Using these statistics and comparing them to other competitive companies in the sector, the committee then comes to a consensus to either hold, liquidate, or invest in these various companies to help leverage the decent size portfolio the club manages. These presentations are given at the formal monthly or bi-weekly meetings.

I am part of the Abbey Advocate program that is a group of students that answer the phone in the Admissions office, calling prospective students, and giving tours.

1. Performed in-depth financial investment analysis looking at a client's asset allocations and management strategies while finding ways to leverage greater returns while minimizing risk.2. Emailed client's 2024 Quarter 2 Investment Performance Reports with personalized analysis.3. Onboarded new clients to expand the firm's revenue and profitability and gained greater competence using the business LinkedIn (LI) account and LI Sales Navigator to nourish leads. 4. Executed hardwire transfers from the client's Charles Schwab brokerage accounts to their bank accounts from liquidated securities and market funds. 5. Used, navigated, and completed data entry in different financial planning software such as EMoney, The Charles Schwab Advisor Center, Orion, and Wealthbox, while using Microsoft platforms like SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.*hours from this internship counted towards the experience hour requirement for the Certified Financial Planner Certification (CFP®) which I plan to earn after graduation.

This was a 4-week internship in the Diocesan Finance Department. The duties of this job included creating and calculating the 2023 financial spending reports for the Diocesan Chancery and organizing financial documents such as Accounts Receivable, Tax Returns, Fixed Assets, and Grants. I also scanned and analyzed internal audit reports from the past 10 years regarding the parishes and 3rd party organizations within the Diocese of Charlotte. Lastly, I was able to analyze diocesan Batch Reports which included Loans, Grants, and Account Deposits/Withdrawals.

I assisted with duties in the Office of the Roman Catholic Bishop, Diocese of Charlotte, and Vicar General at the diocesan headquarters in Charlotte. Some of the tasks include filing and mailing confidential documents and reports to the Pope and Dicasteries within the Vatican and Holy See. In addition to this, I performed basic office support activities, including data entry and analysis regarding parishes and organizations within the Diocese, maintained a very professional and confidential relationship with the Bishop and Vicar General of the Diocese and their staff, conducted inner department work within the diocesan headquarters, especially the Finance and Development Offices, and coordinated logistics for formal business meetings at the Diocesan Headquarters.
