Madison Reed is a prestige beauty brand specializing in hair color and care products. MR has a subscription-based service, a partnership with Ulta selling product across its 1,200 stores, and a rapidly expanding hair color bar salon service across the U.S. I joined to lead an agile scrum process for four cross-functional software development teams.- Increased team velocity by over 60% in the first three months, and by 115% over two years, as measured in total team output in story points sprint over sprint, by introducing an agile scrum process and improving our tools (Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Figma, etc.).- Defined KPIs to track team performance quarter over quarter and communicated engineering group success to C-team members, promoting transparency around process and progress.- Served as a scaling agent for the team’s rapid growth to 25+ people in four cross-functional, globally distributed software development groups in various time zones across the U.S. and Argentina.- Facilitated and scheduled engineering group meetings as a servant leader and action item tracker, and promoted engagement activities such as lunch and learns, product demos, and team recognition for business area highlights to the wider organization.

Researched the amount of data processed by the average player of video games based on frames per second and screen resolution for the Center’s How Much Information? (HMI?) research program. Generated templates for and edited content of research reports and case studies using Adobe InDesign for the HMI? program (samples provided on request).
