Shift Supervisor
Current- Acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in most cases, performing all necessary functions for successful store operation- Performs daily walks of the store to identify successes, areas of opportunity, and to provide direction and feedback to associates as well as assisting any customers - Oversees work assignments to utilize associates’ talents and abilities - Oversees procedures in all fresh and center store departments to ensure product is of high quality, has been rotated, is fresh and has been priced and labeled correctly- Loads and unloads trucks, executes merchandising plans, performs resets, and maintains in-stock conditions of products throughout the store- Ensures compliance with all labors laws, including minor scheduling restrictions- Ensures associates are working and operating equipment in a safe manner that is compliant with OSHA requirements and that all necessary logs are being kept according to company policy- Consistently greets and assists customers while on the sales floor
