Mr. Truesdale enjoys practicing in a myriad of areas of intellectual property law. His breadth of experience in the various fields allows him to not just solve his clients’ immediate concerns, but also aid them in creating a comprehensive intellectual property strategy that is aligned with their business goals. Mr. Truesdale is currently representing a startup company in the energy storage field.Mr. Truesdale previously represented a Fortune 500 client in the athletic footwear and apparel industry in a wide variety of intellectual property issues ranging from trademark and trade dress disputes to patent prosecution. One of these matters reached the Supreme Court.Mr. Truesdale graduated from the University of Chicago Law School where he was involved in the Intellectual Property Law Society.Mr. Truesdale is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Illinois.Mr. Truesdale’s technical background is biological physics. He interned for the Department of Energy at Argonne National Laboratory where he worked on the Argonne Tandem Linac Accelerator System studying the nuclear properties of heavy ions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Notre Dame where he also competed in NCAA cross country and track and field.
