Ryan Van Horne is a veteran journalist with nearly 30 years of experience -- mostly in print, but also in radio, television, and the web.He has also written four plays. His first play, Department of Common Sense, received critical acclaim and box-office success. It was named a Fringe Hit of the 23rd Atlantic Fringe Festival. His first full-length play, The Girl With the Golden Ear, was inspired by career of Rosalie Trombley and her influence on the North American music scene.He has directed two documentary films. The first was Beyond the Game, a biography of Larry Uteck and Chris Flynn of the Saint Mary's Huskies football team. The second was A Fragile Peace, which looked at how the Bosnian conflict of the 1990s affected the soldiers who served as peacekeepers and the citizens who lived through it.
