With a distinguished career as a Naval Aviator, I bring a wealth of leadership experience in dynamic environments to the workplace. In my most recent assignment at the U.S. Naval War College, my tenure as Director of the Russia Maritime Studies Institute shaped our understanding of maritime strategy and policy with a key U.S. adversary. I successfully coordinated complex research agendas, managed a substantial travel budget, and provided essential expertise to key U.S. and NATO leadership. At the helm of the Holloway Advanced Research Program, I directed the development of an impactful curriculum and in-depth reports that enhanced U.S. military operations in Europe. My strategic vision and leadership fostered a collaborative environment that enabled a team of faculty and graduate students to deliver research that directly informed military commanders and policymakers. The combination of my PhD in War Studies and experience with military operations underpins my expertise in international relations and security policy. As I transition from military service, my goal is to leverage this rich background in executive or academic roles focused on leading dynamic teams to solve complex problems. I also bring extensive experience in international relations, Russian and Eurasian studies, history, and cyber information warfare.
