Worked as an Assistant Child Support Officer in the department's intake unit, responsible for processing applications for child support services, both from self-applications as well as referrals from the health and human services agency. Conducted phone interviews with custodial parties and non-custodial parents, answering questions and providing information about the child support program, and sometimes managing uncooperative and/or upset participants. Searched databases and other sources to locate information regarding participant information and income, and exercised individual judgement on what information to include.

Inspected various types of traps for pests considered a danger to San Diego County's agricultural industry, and California's agricultural industry as a whole. Assisted the County's Plant Health and Pest Prevention program by assisting in inspections of outgoing nursery stock for potential pests. Replaced traps as was necessary in the field, removed traps when required, and placed traps in nurseries in accordance with County policy and guidelines. Self-managed schedule day to day and traveled on a cycling, two week schedule. Utilized a county-owned vehicle to travel from location to location, and properly completed mileage record sheets as were necessary in its use. Provided information and basic customer service to the public, and made regular contact with nursery personnel to ensure personal safety.

Patrolled office, lab, and assembly spaces for unsafe conditions, security gaps, security/safety hazards, and unauthorized personnel. Operated an access control system, partly responsible for ensuring that all persons on assigned site were registered and authorized, and that quality customer service was provided. Assisted client in enforcing various policies designed to promote operational security. Assigned to major defense contractor.

Supervised security personnel, with responsibilities such as ensuring proper deployment of personnel and prioritizing incidents and calls. Conducted safety inspections of shopping center areas and equipment, and enforced public law and corporate regulations on center property. Assisted customers in locating stores and vehicles. Conducted various clerical work such as data entry, filing of reports on incidents that occurred in the center, and other assorted tasks. Wrote reports based on witness statements and incident details, including liability reports on critical incidents. Conducted field interviews and limited investigations to determine the facts and reality of minor, major, and critical incidents that occurred at the center. Issued citations to tenants who violated mall policy or lease agreements, and professionally dealt with any conflict that the citation may have caused. Responsible, in part, for the proper training of new personnel, as well as the continuing training of existing personnel. Served as interim Assistant Security Director.

Provided clerical assistance involving sorting and collating papers and files, making copies, and data entry. Contacted the public through obtaining signatures, identifying voter stances, and passing information about the Candidate door-to-door and over the phone. Candidate won the election.

Maintained computer systems at Rancho Bernardo High School. Conducted basic troubleshooting on systems and networks. Conducted yearly maintenance that required formatting as many as thirty computers at one time, and then reinstalling the OS and various other necessary programs. Moved and physically set up computers in various places.
