I coordinate AV and Broadcast operations at the MCG, providing technical support and ensuring secure and efficient system management. I serve as the point of contact for all TV and radio broadcasters, both local and international, ensuring our infrastructure leads the way in industry standards. I handle the installation, testing, and maintenance of audio, video, and digital systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive improvements. Additionally, I manage vendor relationships, and provide strategic support for both event and non-event days.

I provided technology support across multiple FM networks, production, and podcasting departments. I oversaw major projects, managed infrastructure upgrades, and co-ordinated outside broadcasts. Collaboration with other engineering teams across the country was a key aspect, and I actively maintained and expanded relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders, both locally and internationally.Additionally I performed regular maintenance on a range of broadcast, production and IT systems, provided 24/7 on-call broadcast support, and assisted with general office IT support where required.Milestones:2023 ACRA Award Winner - Best Innovation in Engineering (Australian Commercial Radio Awards) For the design and construction of the ‘SCA Melbourne Content Creation Hub’. Created 30 broadcast and recording spaces, enhancing the visual experience for our audience and redefining how radio and podcasting content engages with listeners. Incorporating smart lighting control, HD video capturing and streaming, and the latest LED screen technology. Planned and executed nationwide systems upgrades and studio refurbishments, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining uniform standards across the network. Including: National playout system upgrades in both Melbourne & Sydney (Maestro to Zetta), analogue to digital audio upgrades in multiple markets both metro and regional (Klotz to Axia), complete building relocations/rebuilds (metro and regional).Effectively planned and managed outside broadcasts, ensuring the flawless execution of remote productions in multiple locations, both domestic and international, including Atlanta (Superbowl LIII), Las Vegas, Hawaii, New York, Los Angeles & Seminyak.

I was responsible for rigging and de-rigging audio setups for television broadcasts, including setting up microphones for musical performances and on-air talent.
